My first memory of Horse Racing was watching Makybe Diva win her 3rd Melbourne Cup at the age of four and ever since then I’ve been hooked. My childhood Saturdays consisted of playing soccer in the morning and then coming home to watch the races for the rest of the day. My family was lucky enough to have small shares in two horses trained by Gary Portelli, being able to get up close and personal with trainers, jockeys and horses deepened my love for the sport even more.
Throughout High School I excelled in writing and believed my path to Horse Racing would come through my writing skills. After completing my HSC I enrolled in University to study a Bachelor in Journalism. Upon completing my Bachelors in 2022, I received an opportunity to work at Channel 9. Currently, I am still working at Channel 9 as a Multimedia Producer for Wide World of Sports (WWOS). In 2025, WWOS sent me to cover the Melbourne Cup Carnival as a social media producer, where I had the opportunity to interview trainers and experts.
At the age of 25, my passion for Horse Racing still burns brightly. I have created this blog to share the latest Horse Racing news from around the world. Whether you are a casual racing fan or a newcomer to the sport, this blog will have everything you need to further your understanding of this great sport.
